The Office of Survivor Support provides referral to MSU Student Counseling Center to provide mental health services. The center offers free and confidential counseling sessions to enrolled MSU students.
An advocate can arrange a Forensic Medical Exam following a sexual assault. An advocate can also assist with obtaining STI and pregnancy preventative measures following a sexual assault and can arrange for medical care with ongoing STI testing or treatment.
A formal complaint can be filed through the Office of Civil Rights Compliance. An advocate can provide assistance in explaining the reporting process, making the initial report, as well as any advocacy needs throughout the process including accompaniment to meetings and other supportive measures.
